Doug(brother in law)you will be sadly missed by all. I remember the card games so well and how you always cracked a joke with everyone. You taught your girls how well you could cook, and you were a good cook. I never really saw you in a bad mood you were always the joker. You have three wonderful daughters. Your stories they will treasure, your jokes they will remember,but most of all you sat and talked and shared history with them. Rest in peace and get a card game going up there in heaven. Say hi to Ma for us. You are sadly missed by each person you met and we all take a little bit of you with us. Peace Brother In Law.

Doug where are you….. is this real. You weren’t supposed to go yet. It wasn’t your time. You had many more people to take care of, lives to touch. What are we all going to do without you! I’m going to miss you. Who am I going to call now on a Holiday, when I’m cooking and I have to ask how long to keep the roast in for. You truly were one of a kind. There will never be a duplicate. They broke the mold when they made you. I always said you were something else. You were never at a loss for words. You always had something to say, whether good or bad. I want to thank you for giving me three beautiful daughters, that I am very proud of. I see you in each of them. Words could not express how devastated I am. I will always love you. Daddy I can't believe you are gone. Today will truly be the saddest day of my life. I don't want to let you go. I know you will watch over me from heaven and always protect me. I miss you so much. I wish you were here. It will never be the same without you. I will live for the both of us and make every day count. Daddy you were such a strong man. You lived life, loved people, and enjoyed every moment. You never once cared what anyone else thought. You were like a magnet, people automatically gravitated towards you. They wanted to listen to all your wonderful stories. I gave you an "A" on all of them. lol. I will treasure the time we spent together and always hold you close to my heart. Dougie Doug, I will miss you and all your great stories and jokes you have told me through out the years. You were a very strong and brave man. You lived life to the fullest and made everyday count. You were a mover of life and the world was your home, as thats the way you wanted it. You did what you wanted to do no matter what anyone said and I respected you for that. I loved joking around with you, it always made me laugh. I will miss having a beer with you and your famous line to me while I was in the car,"You all right? Want me to drive?" lol. You had a generious heart, a great personality and a strong will. I will take care of Lisa and Jordan, as you always knew I would. It was my pleasure knowing you and you will be greatly missed. I will see you again!

I know that right now Uncle Doug is telling some dirty jokes- making the heaven roar with laughter. At last, he is reunited with his first love, his mom, at least thats what he told me. Doug thank you for all the great times and memories. Our home is not the same without you. I will miss our marathon card games. Save me a seat for when the game begins again. I will miss the stories and all the jokes and all the conversations. You were a great man with a great spirit and a kind heart. I will miss your generosity. Daddy Bear I love you so much. My heart is breaking into a million little pieces with out you here. It's raining outside right now your favorite. I know your watching down from heaven and waitng for the storm to start just like from my window. It's so hard for me. I came home today and i was waiting for you to be sitting at the table playing cards. It's so unreal to me I just don't want to believe it. The only thing getting me through this is that i am surrounded by all your things and that makes me smile. I brought you home a new candle. I'll light it for you. Remember you said that all we have to do is light a candle and you will come .Well I really need you right now so i'll just wait for you at the kitchen table. Visit as often as you like. I left everything set up the way you like it. I didn't touch anything. Papi i know your probably saying do those dishes you two dummies. You know that job will never be filled. I woke up this morning at like 3am to give you your medicine. I wish i could . Just want to tell you it was a pleasure taking care of you. I cherished all the time I spent with you. I found your little tape recorder and I played it. It was just what i needed thanks daddy. It was our last day together. We played scat for a little while. we had fun. I just wanted to tell you that I love you so much.You we're the best father so caring with the biggest heart. You would do anything for your children. And we knew it. You ARE MY Hero. You always helped out eveyone.You cared so much. There will be a void forever because you are not here. But I know you always be there for me. Daddy Thanks for all the wonderful memories I will cherish them forever. I remember when you brought me home a crab and it ate the other one .It was funny but it wasn't. Thanks for taking care of the house and teaching me how to cook and just about how to fix eveything. You are the smartest person i ever met. You knew how to fix everything. My Father lived life to the fullest. He had an amazing personality and always made the best out of every situation. We'll always remember his smile, sense of humor, and caring heart. You may have thought I didn't see, Or that I hadn't heard, Life lessons that you taught to me, But I got every word. Perhaps you thought I missed it all, And that we'd grow apart, But Dad, I picked up everything, It's written on my heart. Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be the woman I am today; you built a strong foundation No one can take away.
